How do I know when it's time to maintain?

I'm 5'8, 34 years old and started out weighing 181.  I currently weigh 145.8 lbs.  My original goal when I started was 145.  I see a lot of other women my height posting that they are aiming for the 120's or 130's.  I just saw that 145 was right in the middle of a healthy BMI for me so I picked it.  Does anyone have any suggestions on a good weight for me?  My after picture that I have up now was taken at 148 lbs.

want to maintain and boost metabolism

I recently lost some weight by restricting my calories too low. I want to start maintaining (happy at my current weight) but I also would like to boost my metabolism so I am maintaining on a more normal amount, and because I definitely have damaged my metabolism by restricting for 4 months!

I know gaining muscle and exercising is a good way, but I struggled with overexercising in the past, and due to injury, I am advised not to run. I like taking walks, and I stand a lot at work, but other than that, I try not to do too much FORMAL exercise because I get VERY obsessive-compulsive about it very quickly. I love this new freedom I have by not feeling forced to exercise, and I don't want to jeopardize it by starting a new program.

Basically my goal is to choose healthy foods (ex, a 400kcal meal for dinner instead of 400kcal of ice cream) and keep an eye on my calories, but should I risk raising my intake and possibly gain weight?

Right now I eat about 1400-1600/day and am more or less maintaining, although I feel like 1700-1800 is more reasonable for a girl my age, not to mention that I get quite hungry throughout the day and that shaky-hypoglycemic feeling (18 yrs, 5'5", 117 lbs).

Is 1,400-1,500 calories enough for a teenager to maintain on?

I lost 20 pounds on 1,200-1,500 calories and now I want to maintain my weight.  I'm 17, 5'9, and 130 pounds.  I'm not what you'd consider active because I'm a home schooled student and during the day I'm sitting down a lot doing my work.  I do move around several times a day to cook a meal, clean up my room, and stuff like that...just the normal daily activities.  Then in the evenings I'll do a half hour of either strength training or cardio...I alternate between the two.  I do this 4-6 times a week usually.  So I guess I'm lightly active maybe?  My mom says that I need to eat more because she says I look like I'm getting thinner but I'm worried if I increase my calories that I'll gain weight.  So, is what I'm eating (1,400-1,500 calories) enough or should I increase it and if I do will my weight go up?
