I blew my dinner tonight and help with major stomach cramp from exercising.

Yesterday, we went to the YMCA, and I did 200 reps of lifting 5 lb weights, and 7 minutes of the elliptical machine.

This morning, I woke up with a major stomach cramp on my lower left side. We went to the Y again this afternoon, and I did 20 minutes of the elliptical machine.

I still have the cramp, which hurts like a dog when I breathe, and I was wondering how I should treat it and how I should exercise or rest it out a day.

And I've been trying to eat healthier, but tonight we went to Ruby Tuesday, where I had 8 oz of Coke, 4 hot wings, 5 tortilla chips, 3 tbsp of spinach dip, half of my petite sirloin steak, 1/4 of white cheddar mashed potatoes with butter, and all of my broccoli.

So I'm really pissed off at myself for doing what I did tonight. I should've got water and the kid's menu grilled chicken with broccoli.

So anyways, thanks for listening to/reading my whining, lol.

Major need of some macro help! Experts PLEASE HELP!!

I am 5 6, 110 pounds, male and 20 years old. I currently upped my calories from 2200 to 2500. I am having some trouble figureing out what my macros should be. First protein, I have read alot about how lots is better for muscles and have also read that we dont need as much as we think. I know I could survive on like 80 grams or less if I wanted to. Since I upped my calories ive been eating 25%/150 grams. I only weigh 110 and I keep reading I only need 1g per pound of lean body mass which is only 110 grams(still over reccommended lower amount). Protein is expensive and I would rather eat less if I could. Is my protein too high or should I raise it even more? Next fat, I am not a person who eats alot of fat. In fact usually I have to add peanut butter or oil to raise the fat usually at  the end of the day. Is it ok if I only eat 20 percent of my calories from fat or do I need to raise this? Last is obviously  carbs. Last year I did tb 80/10/10 diet and it really worked for me. I felt incredible and went from being lazy and moody to active and happy. I had to stop when I  could not afford all the food (over 3k calories of fruit a day). Once i stopped again I felt tired and moody. I think my body runs better with more carbs because when I was on the 801010 I was eating like 600 grams of carbs a day and not gaining a pound. I know most people think they HAVE to eat low carbs to maintain a lean body but is it ok If I eat higher carbs? Please someone help me figure out what I should be eating, Im soo lost. what do you think about this, 2500 calorie, 55-65 fat, 140-160 protein and the rest carbs about 350grams?

Salmonella Fears Spur Major Recall of Pet Treats

Brands such as Colorado Naturals, Nature's Deli

By Robert Preidt

HealthDay Reporter

THURSDAY, Feb. 21 (HealthDay News) -- Boots & Barkley, Colorado Naturals and Nature's Deli are among the many pet treat brands being recalled by an American company due to possible salmonella contamination, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Thursday.

Kasel Associates Industries Inc. is recalling all pet treats it manufactured between April 20 and Sept. 19, 2012. The company has issued three previous recall notices for specific products produced during this time period.

The action comes after the Colorado Department of Agriculture tested a sample of a Kasel pet treat product from a store and found it to be positive for salmonella. A follow-up FDA inspection at the company found that all of the finished pet treat product samples and 48 out of 87 environmental samples from the manufacturing facility tested positive for salmonella.

More than 10 different types of salmonella were found in the company's treats and the production plant, indicating multiple sources of contamination, the FDA said in an agency news release.

The pet treats made by Kasel are sold at various retailers, including Target, Petco, Sam's Club and Costco. Most of the products have a two-year shelf life.

There have not been any reports of human illness associated with the pet treats, but there have been complaints of illnesses in dogs who ate the treats, according to the agency.

Both people and animals can contract salmonella from handling or eating contaminated products. After handling dry pet treats, people should thoroughly wash their hands as well as any surfaces touched by the products, the FDA said.

Consumers who have the recalled products, or who are unsure of the manufacturing date of their pet treats, should dispose of them safely by placing them in a securely lidded garbage can.

The recall is not related to the FDA's ongoing investigation of jerky pet treats made in China.

Symptoms of salmonella infection in pets include lethargy, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever, vomiting, decreased appetite and abdominal pain. Pets who have eaten the recalled treats and are experiencing any of these symptoms should be taken to a veterinarian, the FDA advised.

The agency also noted that infected, but otherwise healthy pets, can be carriers and infect other animals or people.

Symptoms of salmonella infection in people can include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramps and fever. People who develop these symptoms after handling the recalled pet treats should see their doctor, the FDA said.
