Trying to lose weight but I don't think it's working

Ok I'm 22 yr old female, 5'10, 184 lbs. Athletic build, but i do have some belly fat. I wanna get to 165. I looked at a lot of calculators and told me that I should be eating around 1900-2000 calories daily, but i decided to go 100 calories below (1800). The first 2 weeks was better good. I was at 180 lbs. But now for the past 5 weeks, my weight has been going up and down. 2 weeks ago, I was at 177, and then next week I was 181. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I workout 3-4 times for about an hour, eating pretty clean, and I pick one day where I have a "cheat" meal. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Just something to think about..

I read this forum every day.  I see so many people, not so very unlike myself, fretting endlessly about the importance of weight loss, how to go about it properly, and all of the varied reasons why we feel we must reduce ourselves.

To all of you, especially the women in this instance, take a moment to read this little quote.

I do not mean to discourage weight loss with this post, but I do mean to redirect the attention we give to our bodies towards health, and away from being less.

Sorry if this comes across as a bit weird. I just found it very thought-provoking and something some others might not have considered.

Be good to yourselves, and take care of you for all of the right reasons.

I think I have been doing this all wrong. Logging activity

I just realized after reading someone else's post that I have my settings at moderate activity and been logging all my exercise. I have wondered why I haven't been loosing with how active I am and having decent deficits. So I went in and changed my settings to sedentary and will log my activities. I am confused what to do now. I am a 42 yr old female, 5'6" and weigh 156 and want to be 145. CC put me at 1200 calories. That seems so low. So will I eat more to keep a deficit around 500 cal a day?

Anyone think this is a good idea???

Im recovering from anorexia, Funny thing is when I WASNT recovering from anorexia I always felt like becoming a competitive eater lol So me and my friend decided to do an eating challenge every weekend like eat a whole box of pizza, eat a whole box of cookies, or eat 12 or more tacos from taco bell. I agreed since Im alright with it and Im recovering from anorexia and I already pretty much faced my fears from eating fast food and junk. But first I wanted to know if its a good idea especially since im recovering from anorexia and need to gain weight anyway. Anyone think this is a good idea?
