Zoloft for a 8 weeks = 8 lb gain

So after a serious concussion I was prescribed 2 anti depressants. Amitryptaline for pain (10 mg) and Zoloft for traumatic brain injury issues (25 mg). Between the two I've gained 8 lbs and only craved carbs!! Took myself off both since this wasn't a chemical imbalance issue and I don't think I need to stay on them for 6 months. My dr was fine w/stopping the amitryptaline but not the Zoloft. I did anyway though. He wright gain is causing me way to much stress so I've decided I my own that my head is healed and my husband knows that if I start acting nuttier than usual to say something. Has anyone else gone through anything like this? Wondering how long it will take to lose this weight
