massive update

Hi!!

So over the weekend I've been having lots of tests, medical and psychiatric, so that my discharge can be planned! And this morning i had my review :)

so most of you know that i've been in hospital/inpatient for...8 months ish now? when i first started posting here as an ill 13 year old with a bmi around 10, a heart rate of 35bpm, breathing difficulties, serious incontinence, inability to walk properly etc etc people thought i was going to die.

but following my review i can assure you all that i have beaten anorexia nervosa.

my bmi is up from just over 10, to 17.8.

my heart rate is at a perfectly healthy 80bpm, over double what my recovery began with!

i am very energetic, i can breathe and walk normally and am almost ready to return to ballet classes.

my bladder muscle has pretty much fully restrengthened and whilst i SOMETIMES (happened yesterday for the first time in 17 days, and only happened because i am now weaning off my incontinence pills) do still wet myself i'm definitely almost back to normal!

i have A LOT of home leave these days and i've been able to enjoy days out with my mum and with my friends

i am enjoying my food and feeling much better about myself. there's now 'a boy' on the scene hehe, and if i was ill i know that wouldn't happen! i also think i might be starting my period soon...

so, yeah :)

recovery can be done :)

i'm always here for advice x

Garden Update: Plant Down!

It’s only been a few weeks and we already have a plant down.

After a couple days of rain I finally went outside to check on my hanging garden. Unfortunately I found this:

Broken plant

That’s pretty disappointing to see!

That pot held the spring onions and a single spinach plant. Now they are destroyed along with the pot.

I’m not sure what happened but I did see a guilty looking JuJu hanging around.

Juju broken plant

Considering she ate my first 5 kale plants and one broccoli plant she seems very suspicious. We thought they were secure enough and high enough that she couldn’t reach them and maybe she didn’t. Maybe it just fell on it’s own? I guess we will never know.

Luckily the rest of my plants are growing well. All the kale and spinach and lettuce is growing well. So far the kale is the only vegetable we have used in a meal but I have high hope for the rest!

Growing plants

The cilantro is especially promising. This stuff is growing like crazy and tastes so nice.

Cilantro

Other than losing yet another plant I have high hopes for the rest of this garden. It’s a nice trial run for future gardens I want to plant whenever we get our own home one day. I’m definitely learning a lot about what not to do during this process if nothing else. I’ve heard those kinds of lessons come in handy and experience matters in these kinds of things.

Wish me luck for no more garden mishaps!

It Sux To Be Fat Update

I just wondered how you are and if you miss me at all because I miss you A lot! Missing You

I’ve been missing.

I hope you noticed because that means you read my posts on a regular basis.

For the past week, my husband has been working very hard on switching It Sux To Be Fat over to a new server.  In order for this process to go smoothly, I had to NOT post.  It has been very hard for me to not post updates on my weekly weigh in, how my eating is going, new goals for the month, about an important doctor visit and new things I have found.  However, the new server space is going to be so much faster and make navigating through the blog much easier.

So, please be patient and we will reward your patience with a very cool giveaway.  Thank you for your patience and understanding as we improve the site to make it easier for you!

You can stay in contact with me on Facebook.

2012 Goals Update & plans for age 26

Today is one month from my 26th birthday. Wow. How could this happen? I feel completely unprepared for not even 25 so I am 26. Like it or not all time stops for each of us so in a month I will run 26.

A month before my birthday as good as any to evaluate how I'm working at this year's goals and see what a time that I want to accomplish before feels for that next age marker!

My remaining student loans pay off as part of plan to be debt free.-I'm on track with this and so much money to my loans if I can throw. I hate debt after he into credit card debt for a while, so I want them gone. So far I have paid out $ 3,417. This is just about on schedule.Prepare yourself physically (weight in control + active), mentally (prepared birth and care of baby) and financial (debt paid off + money saved for baby cost) for any pregnancy.-This is also on track. I am the repayment of the debt (goal # 1) and am saving money with Kepa. I'm also reading a few books as cargo taking your fertility and now I'm reading A Guide to healthy pregnancy in New Zealand. Here it is another system, and they rely mostly on midwives that I'm not accustomed to so more research/reading will hopefully my nerves about eventually going on this road in a few years of rest.Achieving a healthier weight (a part of goal # 2)-and body composition. To do this! LiveFit has helped and my body composition is so much better now. I have muscle y'all! My last weigh in also had me down 6 pounds so I am slowly completing this. To buy A sewing machine and learn to sew clothes (seriously!).-I give myself a pass on this one. I bought a sewing machine ... and even not threaded it yet. I can't seem to find free time/energy/desire to this not happen again. I was psyched at the beginning so maybe that will come back soon.52 + books read. At least 1 book per month for health + fitness read. – This is going well and it is pretty easy since I love to read. Last week I read all the books as well as another book hunger Games. I also started two others. I try to keep a go with good reads count but I'm sure it will be more than 52 at the end of the year at this rate.Do a cartwheel! Haven't tried this yet because I honestly am scared!

This list is what I hope to achieve in the next month before 26.

Weigh in on under 200 pounds. This has long been my roadblock so I would like to crush it.Buying something when I'm under 205 lbs.:) LUSHgo ice skating. It starts to get cooler so I want winter activities!Go snowboarding and learning Kepa. Not on a real mountain, but an indoor place as practice.Go on a road trip. Even just a little day trip one on the weekend. I'm crazy stir!

That's it! Not a really big stuff. Everything seems to go well and I feel like I'm on track
